Hi. I almost made it a full day without updating this project and yet again, I find myself at 4am yet again, inspired and unable to sleep.
- Changed terminology for cards
- I decided to commit to calling red cards "kindling" and black cards "darkness" for the sake of keeping it as thematic as possible.
- Moved Cards section...again
- I noticed the instructions would flow better this way because everything else references this section so it made sense to put it before everything else.
- Changed "discard pile" to "discards"
- Why not?
- Keywords are now in bold or italics
- Should help communicate the importance of said keywords.
- These keywords are: "kindling", "darkness", "gems", "shadow pile" & "torch stack".
- Reworked the "PLAYING SOLO/DUO" section
- Reworded and plainly written out. The bullet points felt like overkill for a mere 2 special rulings.
- Changed wording around "torch stack"
- This is to suggest the ideal way to display your torch stack is in a line from left to right.
- Gave "STARTING A NEW ROUND" steps catchy names
- I felt this could help people remember said steps a little better as well as make it easier to reference. e.g. "Thankfully there's no spread this round" or "Ok, time for the quell".
- Added a few really minor rewordings
- Just little attempts at some last-minute polish.
