Today I started working on figuring out a potential solo-mode for Gem Crawl so we'll see where that goes but for now, here are some more wording changes...
- Changed "pile" to "stack" specifically for referring to the torch.
- This is because I wanted to help imply best I can that it helps to have the pile in a sort of cascade so you can see each card in the stack. Seemed important when you'll be taking cards from the bottom or the middle from round to round.
- Added more references to the Jokers.
- This is to help make clear that both Jokers are to be used, not just one. Also wanted to clarify how they work during setup and as a search option.
- Shortened the description for pulling cards from the deck to the torch stack at the start of a round.
- Saving space.
- Added "highest value" to the setup description for establishing turn order.
- This should help if multiple people have the same amount of red cards. Consider this a tie-breaker of sorts.
P.S. I'm also trying to think of better names for this game so I'm open to suggestions. Someone ask Kelsey xD I'd feel she'd have a great idea of what crawlers would call such a card-game in Shadowdark lore. Maybe "Thieves & Even More Thieves"?
